John Quimbo

John Quimbo has four years of work experience. John began as a Political Organizing Intern at NextGen America in 2016. In 2020, they became a Software Engineer Intern at SocketLabs, where they defined Data Transfer Objects and Endpoints for a REST API in the documentation, developed services and controllers, NgRx stores, view-model, and UI for an internal data visualization web application, and refactored existing code and wrote Unit tests. In 2021, they became a VR Software Development Intern at Bosch Rexroth, where they worked on an agile team to develop a virtual reality showroom to facilitate sales of Bosch products, built the backend using Azure SQL and ASP. NET Web API, and developed user interaction features using Unity and C# scripting. In 2022, they returned to SocketLabs as a Junior Software Engineer.

John Quimbo attended Don Bosco Preparatory High School from 2012 to 2016. John then went on to study Computer Science at Villanova University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2021.
