Robert Gray has a diverse work experience in the field of art and game development. Robert started their career at Acclaim Studios Teesside in 1995 as an Artist, eventually progressing to the role of Lead Artist and Senior Artist. Robert was responsible for front end art concept style, scheduling art teams, and ensuring quality control. Robert also had experience in level building, texturing, and vertex painting.
After their tenure at Acclaim, they worked at Atomic Planet Entertainment as a Senior Artist, where they focused on 3D environment creation and utilized in-house game and front-end editors.
Robert then joined IGUANA ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED as a Senior Artist, where they worked on game art, company branding, and promotional materials.
Robert then moved to Playteau, Inc., where they held the position of Artist/Project/Office Manager, responsible for various tasks including art production, project management, and general office duties.
Subsequently, they joined Hippo Entertainment as a Senior Artist/Project Manager, working closely with the director and head of project development.
Robert also had experience as a freelance digital artist, working on concept creation, character and environment design, and marketing materials for various clients.
Most recently, they joined SockMonkey Studios as an Artist, where they continue to contribute their skills and expertise.
Robert Gray attended Sarah Metcalfe Secondary School from 1985 to 1989. After completing their secondary education, they went on to study at the Cleveland College of Art and Design from 1989 to 1991. During their time there, they pursued a Btec National Diploma with a specialization in General Art and Design. In their final year, they focused on illustration and model making.
