Tevfik Pehlivan has been working in the cyber security field since 2015. Tevfik started at Best Seza A.Ş. as a Research and Development Engineer, where they designed Industrial Unmanned Air Vehicles for aerial mapping and implemented SCADA systems for international oil and gas pipelines. In 2019, they joined the Turkish Navy as a Lieutenant and was involved in MILGEM naval warship projects and supported the ANEP implementation and control documentation process. Currently, they are the Attack Surface Team Lead and Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at SOCRadar® Extended Threat Intelligence, where they perform manual security assessments, searches for weaknesses in web applications, utilizes vulnerability scanning tools and techniques, and uses OSINT tools to increase attack surface visibility.
Tevfik Pehlivan obtained an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the International University of Sarajevo. In December 2021, they also obtained a Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst certification from the EC-Council. In 2021, they obtained an Enterprise and Infrastructure Security certification from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering: Graduate School. In 2022, they obtained a Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK certification from AttackIQ, an External Pentest Playbook certification from TCM Security, and a number of certifications from PentesterLab, including a Recon Badge, Unix Badge, Essential Badge, HTTP Badge, Serialize Badge, and White Badge.
