Jonathan Doering

Jonathan Doering is a seasoned professional in data science and product development, currently serving as the Platform Lead for the RiskOS product at Socure since November 2024. Previously, Jonathan co-founded Effectiv, where responsibilities included leading the development of an integrated risk platform focused on identity verification and fraud prevention from April 2021 to November 2024. Jonathan also held a managerial role in data science at PayPal's Simility, implementing machine learning solutions for global fraud cases between July 2018 and April 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a visiting lecturer in data science and quantitative finance at King's College London and Queen Mary University, and working on data science projects at Hitachi Vantara. Jonathan founded and managed Nice HPM GmbH and contributed to sustainable investment analysis at ÖKOWORLD. Educational credentials encompass a Master of Science in Algorithmic Trading from the University of Essex and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Bioinformatics from Freie Universität Berlin.
