Michael Atherton

Michael Atherton is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and creative direction. Currently serving as a Staff Product Designer at Socure since February 2023, Michael previously held roles as Product Designer and Senior Product Designer at Berbix from January 2022 to June 2023. Michael has also contributed to XRay Tech as a Creative Director and Product Designer, and worked as a Freelance Designer with a diverse client portfolio, including Becton Dickinson and Open IDEO. Michael's background includes positions as a Digital Design Strategist at NBBJ Design and Creative Director at Pre-Meds Without Borders, focusing on rebranding and user experience design. Educational credentials include a Master of Architecture from California College of the Arts and a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from the University of Utah.
