Iram Nadeem, PhD

Iram Nadeem, PhD, has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. In 2009, they started their career with an internship at PTCL. Following that, they worked as a Lab Engineer at Army Public College of Management & Sciences (APCOMS) in 2011. In the same year, they also took on the role of Program Coordinator/Teaching Assistant at HITEC University, where they assisted with academic and administrative activities.

From 2015 to 2016, Iram worked as a Lecturer (Full time) at APCOMS. Iram then embarked on their doctoral research journey as a Doctoral Researcher at the Electromagnetics Innovation Joint Lab with Huawei in 2019. At this lab, their research focused on EM simulations.

In 2016, Iram joined the Communication and Wave Propagation Lab in South Korea as a Research Assistant, where they were involved in the implementation of miniaturized printed UWB antennas. Iram also worked as a Researcher at the same lab from 2018 to 2019, proposing various antenna models to analyze their characteristics.

Currently, Iram is working as an EM Simulation Engineer at Sofant Technologies, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in EM simulations, antenna design, academic coordination, and teaching assistance.

Iram Nadeem, PhD has an extensive education history. Iram began their academic journey in 2006 at the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2010. Building on their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the same institution from 2012 to 2014.

Seeking further specialization, Iram pursued a Master of Science (MS) by Research in Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) at Chosun University's Graduate School of Science & Technology in South Korea from 2016 to 2018. During this time, they focused on gaining research experience and developing expertise in their chosen field.

Continuing their academic journey, Iram embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Electromagnetic Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Siena in 2019. This program, which is expected to conclude in 2023, is the pinnacle of their educational pursuits and demonstrates their dedication to advancing their knowledge and skills in their specialized field.

Alongside their PhD program, Iram participated in various additional educational opportunities. In 2021, they attended a course on "Exploiting Symmetries in Artificial Materials for Antenna Applications" at Sorbonne Université. Additionally, in 2022, they visited the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid to delve into PTD Symmetric GapWave Technology.
