Eric Martinez

Eric Martinez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 when they worked at Trader Joe's as a Section Leader. Eric was responsible for customer service, merchandise planning, scheduling, and HR allocation until 2015.

In the same year, Eric worked at Raytheon and Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. as a Remote Pilot Operator. Eric provided support for the training of Air Traffic Controllers and performed fast-paced computer data entry.

From 2015 to 2019, Eric joined SAIC as a Lead Remote Pilot Operator, continuing their work in supporting the training of Air Traffic Controllers.

In 2019, Eric joined StormGeo Shipping as an Associate Route Analyst. Eric then advanced to the role of Route Analyst in 2021.

Currently, Eric is working at Sofar Ocean as an Ocean Operations Specialist. Their responsibilities include developing and implementing routing SOPs, improving UX/UI, and representing the routing department to internal and external stakeholders.

Eric Martinez's education history includes attending two community colleges. Eric first attended City College of San Francisco from 2007 to 2009, earning an Associate of Science degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Sacramento City College where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Flight Technology. In addition to their education, Eric also obtained a certification as an FAA Certified Aircraft Dispatcher from the Federal Aviation Administration in August 2014.
