Yumin Hui

Yumin Hui has worked in various roles since 2008. Starting as a Financial Planner for China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited in 2008, they then moved to Manager Assistant at Seesaw Coffee in 2012. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer for both FitBud and Surge Price Service, where they designed a service-oriented architecture with decoupled micro-services and built a service gateway using AWS load balancing and Node clusters. Yumin then moved to Opendoor in 2018 as a Software Engineer, where they built multiple consumer-facing web apps and developed new features through A/B testing and phased rollouts. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer for Nava and is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Sofar Ocean.

Yumin Hui attended East China Normal University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. In 2017, they attended Hack Reactor.
