David Evans

David Evans is an experienced professional in the fields of behavioural change, engagement, and event organization. Currently serving as the Principal Behavioural Change and Engagement Officer for Birmingham City Council, David leads the development of communications and activities related to the Route to Zero initiative aimed at achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions in Birmingham. Additional roles include facilitating the Positive Low Energy Futures Citizen's Panel at the Energy Demand Research Centre and participating in organizing live music events for Sofar Sounds. David's background includes data analysis at Portsmouth City Council, music editing for Redbrick Newspaper, and leadership positions at New Street Records, where industry experience was provided for student volunteers. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Birmingham and has completed studies abroad in Mexico and Hong Kong.
