David Wilkinson

David Wilkinson has extensive experience in turret and mooring systems management within the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Turret & Mooring System Interface / MOC Manager at SOFEC, Inc. since November 2023. Previous roles include Turret Engineer on the FPSO Maromba project at BW Energy, Turret and Mooring System Engineer for the Sangomar FPSO project at Woodside Energy, and Turret Specialist during the Barossa field FPSO project at ConocoPhillips. Additional experience includes serving as a Turret and Mooring System Representative at Tullow Oil, Project Manager for the Rosebank FPSO Turret Project at Hyundai Heavy Industries, and engineering roles for BP's Thunder Horse and Kaskida projects. David also has a background in project management from McDermott International Inc. and Single Buoy Moorings, with an academic foundation in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University, focusing on zero defect technology in thermoplastic injection moulding.
