Dipak Chavda

Dipak Chavda is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Technical Manager for Project Development at SOFEC, Inc. since April 2019, and previously held the position of Project Engineering Manager at SBM Offshore from January 2006 to March 2019. At SBM Offshore, responsibilities included acting as the engineering focal point for the Project Management Team and overseeing all phases of engineering, ensuring compliance with client specifications and applicable regulations. Prior roles include Engineer at American Bureau of Shipping, providing technical support and engineering solutions for innovative vessel designs, and teaching/research assistant at Lamar University. Dipak's early career involved mechanical engineering roles in transformer fabrication and power plant maintenance.
