Duo O.

Duo O. is a seasoned professional in the field of marine technology, currently serving as Project Quality Lead at SOFEC since July 2019. Prior to this role, Duo O. held positions at DNV as a Principal Consultant and Principal Engineer for a short duration in 2019, and spent a decade at DNV GL in various capacities including Project Manager, Principal Engineer, and Principal Surveyor from April 2008 to November 2018. Duo O. began the career at American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) as an Approval Engineer between 2006 and 2008, followed by a research tenure as a PhD candidate at Newcastle University from 2003 to 2006. The career commenced at Samsung Heavy Industries as a Senior Engineer from March 1994 to February 2003. Duo O. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Technology from Newcastle University, complemented by education from Korea Maritime & Ocean University.
