Marisa de Leon is a seasoned Piping Designer with extensive experience in the field of piping design. Currently employed at SOFEC, Inc. since September 2013, Marisa specializes in using PDMS for complex design projects. Prior to this role, Marisa served as an Adjunct Instructor of PDMS and Piping Design at San Jacinto College from 2013 to June 2015, where instruction spanned five semesters in advanced technologies related to pipe drafting. Previous positions include senior piping designer at Jacobs, focusing on work for Marathon Bay Refinery, as well as roles at Aker Kvaerner, McDermott International Inc., and Fluor, where foundational skills in piping design were developed. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University, earned between 1981 and 1985.
