Susan Bowden is an experienced piping designer with a strong background in offshore and marine engineering. Currently employed at SOFEC, Inc. since November 2019, Susan’s previous roles include Hull Systems Lead at Worley Parsons Intecsea, Sr. Piping Designer at Huntington Ingalls Industries, and Senior Offshore Piping Designer at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals. With expertise in PDMS and AutoCAD software, Susan has worked on notable projects for Chevron and Shell Oil Company, contributing to the design and modeling of piping and HVAC systems for various oil rig and co-generation power plant projects. Susan holds an Associate of Applied Science in Engineering from Thomas Nelson Community College, obtained between 1990 and 1992.
