Carl Schmidt

Carl Schmidt is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Data Platform at SoFi, Carl has previously held key positions including Director of Platform Engineering at Premise Data, Principal Software Development Engineer and Engineering Manager at Microsoft, and Software Development Manager at both Catalysis and PhotoWorks, which was acquired by Shutterfly. Carl's educational background includes studies at the University of Oregon from 1990 to 1993.
