Maria Centeno

Maria Centeno is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement leadership across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Procurement at SoFi since December 2020, Maria previously held the position of Director of Procurement at Zuora, where responsibilities included building the procurement function and enhancing organizational operations. Prior to Zuora, Maria worked at Salesforce, taking on multiple roles such as Director of Strategic Sourcing and acting Head of Services Sourcing, overseeing global procurement initiatives. Maria's earlier experience includes strategic sourcing roles at eBay and CHEP, alongside an MBA marketing internship at Abbott Laboratories. Educational qualifications include an IMBA in Marketing from the University of South Carolina, an IMBA in International Business from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
