Matt Cameron

Matt Cameron is the Director of Policy and Government Affairs at SoFi, focusing on enhancing financial independence through digital services. Previously, they served as the Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Remitly and were a Manager of Public Policy at Amazon, specializing in payments and regulatory issues. With over a decade of experience in the U.S. government, including nine years at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) where they held leadership roles, Matt has deep expertise in consumer finance and banking policy. They hold a master's degree in political management from George Washington University and are pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science from California State University Channel Islands.
