Michael Patrick Vaughn

Michael Patrick Vaughn, PhD, is a sociologist and expert in qualitative and mixed-methods research with a passion for gender, sexuality, and health. They have served as the head of a social science research group, managing a diverse team of researchers, and have held positions such as Senior Mixed Methods User Experience Researcher at Cigna and Chief Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University. Michael developed an innovative digital research method and has produced extensive research on the impact of institutional practices on individual experiences. They earned a PhD and MA in Sociology from Emory University and have actively contributed to projects that address diversity, equity, and inclusion in various fields.
