Mike Penner

Mike Penner is a Staff Software Engineer at SoFi, where they lead collaborative teams to develop efficient software solutions. Prior to their current role at SoFi, which they began in 2022, they served as a Senior Java Developer since 2017. Mike also held the position of Technical Lead at Zenbanx, which they have been affiliated with since 2013, and previously worked as a Tech Lead/Sr. Developer at emailtopia between 2008 and 2013. Earlier in their career, Mike worked as a Sr. Consultant at Netron from 1993 to 2000. They earned a BMath in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo between 1989 and 1994.
