Sal Costa

Sal Costa is an experienced data engineering and operations leader currently serving as Senior Director of Data Engineering & Analytics at SoFi since June 2025. Previously, Sal held multiple senior director positions at Coinbase from May 2020 to March 2025, focusing on global operations, customer experience technology, and analytics. At Compass, from July 2018 to April 2020, Sal was Head of Operations, overseeing customer service and operational improvements. From September 2011 to June 2018, Sal was a Senior Leader at Amazon, heading the private brands team and managing operations related to forecasting and analytics. Sal's career began at Avon as Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain Strategy from September 2007 to September 2011. Sal holds an MBA in Finance and Operations from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Operations and Physics from Boston College.
