Thomas Snell is a seasoned software engineer and data scientist with extensive experience in fraud prevention and machine learning. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at SoFi since June 2019, Thomas leads the SAFE squad, focusing on SoFi's centralized fraud prevention tool, and previously enhanced KYC and fraud processes for the SoFi Money product. As Chief Data Scientist and Cofounder at Aequicens, Thomas developed a market rating system incorporating deep reinforcement learning and managed a remote team. Thomas's diverse experience includes contract roles in data science and a consultancy with XMi Holdings, alongside research positions in quantum efficiency software at PolyPhotonix.
