John Fox

John Fox is a distinguished figure in the field of poetry therapy and education, serving as the President of the Institute for Poetic Medicine since 2005. Fox has held various professorships at multiple institutions, including Sofia University and John F. Kennedy University, since 1993, and has been an Associate Adjunct Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies since 2000. Additionally, Fox contributed to the academic community as a professor at UC Santa Cruz Adult Extension Program from 1997 to 2006 and has experience as the President of the National Association for Poetry Therapy from 2003 to 2005. With a background in English and Creative Writing from Bard College and Boston University, Fox also operated The Healing Art of Poem-Making from 1981 to 2005.
