Dirk Geiregat is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in implementing customer and internal innovation projects using microservices technology at Sofico since July 2019. Prior roles include managing national and international software implementation projects in Smart Grids for Utilities at Honeywell from December 2016 to January 2022, as well as leading similar projects at Elster EnergyICT from December 2012 to November 2016. Dirk has also held positions in software development project management, operations management, and IT security consulting at various firms, including Niko Projects, Tele Atlas, and Unisys, where expertise encompassed agile development, process optimization, and security policy formulation. An academic background in high energy physics was established with a PhD from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and an MSc from Ghent University.
