Johan van Hoye

Johan Van Hoye has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Johan is currently the Solutions Platform Delivery Lead at Sofico, where they support global Platform teams in product and process standardization and provides guidance in architectural and software engineering. Prior to this, Johan owned EBMI, a consultancy providing management and ICT services to software development firms. Johan also served as the General Manager of a startup wine trading project called De Crazy Sommelier. Johan has held various roles at Wolters Kluwer - Financial Services Solutions, including Solutions Architect and Product Strategy Advisor. Johan has also worked at Financial Architects as an Advisor, Chief Technology Officer, Product Manager, and Implementation Consultant. Additionally, they served as the CTO of a company called 2imagine and an Implementation Consultant at FICS Group. Johan's expertise includes software development lifecycle processes, product architecture and management, user experience design, and innovation of business models. Johan has knowledge in domain-driven design, microservices architectures, distributed architectures, containerization, service orchestration, and automation.

Johan Van Hoye earned their Secondary degree in Latin-Sciences from Sint-Jozef Klein Seminarie from 1986 to 1991. Subsequently, they pursued their higher education at the University of Antwerp from 1991 to 1995, graduating with a T.E.W. degree in Applied Economics, specializing in ICT.
