Anna De Bari has extensive experience in microbiology, primarily within the pharmaceutical industry. At SOFIE from December 2016 to March 2023, Anna held several key positions including Microbiology Manager, overseeing Quality Control Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring, as well as supervising QC Analytical Chemistry. Previous roles at SOFIE included Microbiology Supervisor and Lead Microbiologist II, responsible for managing environmental monitoring programs for sterile radio-pharmaceutical products. Prior to SOFIE, Anna served as a Research Assistant at Montclair State University, contributing to studies on antibacterial effects of green tea phenols, and as an Independent Researcher focused on microbial diversity. Anna earned a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University.
