Christine Mona

Christine Mona, PhD, is an accomplished academic and consultant specializing in pharmacology and medicinal chemistry. Since October 2016, Christine has been serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, while also consulting for SOFIE since September 2020. Christine's academic journey includes completing a PhD in Pharmacology at Université de Sherbrooke from 2011 to 2016, where the focus was on designing chemokine receptor ligands. Prior experience includes a Graduate Trainee position at Roche Pharmaceuticals, where small molecule chemistry and beta-peptide programs were explored. Christine holds a Master of Science from Université Montpellier 2 and a Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Chemistry from the same institution. In addition, a MOOC in Project Management from Centrale Lille was completed in 2015, highlighting Christine's commitment to developing skills pertinent to the field.
