Babak Mostafaee has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they worked as a Research Internship and also assisted a PhD student at the University of Glasgow. In 2015, they worked as a Support Worker at Creative Support. In 2017, they assisted with a research project in Ghana during their MSc degree in global health at the Karolinska Institutet. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Support Worker at Sollentuna kommun, where they provided support to unaccompanied refugee minors. Babak also worked as a healthcare assistant at AB SOLOM from 2018 to 2021, helping individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities to lead independent lives. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Foundations in Clinical and Health Psychology at Newcastle University from 2014 to 2015. Babak also holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Babak'shigh school education was completed at Kungsholmens Gymnasium, where they obtained a High School Diploma in Natural Sciences from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Babak has also earned several certifications in various fields. Babak is a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in IT Service Management, which they obtained from ServiceNow in July 2023. Babak has also achieved micro-certifications in Automated Test Framework, Service Portal, Virtual Agent, and Integration Hub from ServiceNow in 2022. Furthermore, they hold a Certified System Administrator certification from ServiceNow, which they obtained in July 2022. Lastly, Babak has a Business Technology Standard Green Card from the Business Technology Forum, which they acquired in May 2022.
