Penelope Mertens

Penelope Mertens has work experience in various companies and roles. Penelope started working at Tuerlinckx Fiscale Advocaten | Avocats Fiscalistes in 2014 as a Junior Program and also had a role as a Zomerstage intern during that time. In 2016, they joined Allianz Life as a Servicing Life employee until 2017. Penelope then moved to Allianz Belgium and worked as a Project Lead Employee Benefits from 2017 to 2019. Since 2019, Penelope has been employed at Sofina, where they initially served as an HR Associate until 2021 and is currently working as an HR Manager.

Penelope Mertens began their education at Pulhof from 2004 to 2010. Penelope then went on to attend the University of Antwerp from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Rechten/Rechten en rechtswetenschappen. During the same period, they also studied at Universiteit Antwerpen and completed a Master in rechten. In 2014, they enrolled at Fiscale Hogeschool Brussel for a postgraduate program in Fiscaliteit, which they completed in 2016. Lastly, Penelope pursued further specialization in Leergang Pensioenrecht at KU Leuven from 2016 to 2017.
