Georges Yameogo is an experienced agronomist who has worked for the Société Burkinabè des Fibres Textiles (SOFITEX) since 1983 and holds the position of Secretary General at the Association Interprofessionnelle du Coton du Burkina (AICB) since 2005. Yameogo served as the Coordinator for the Irrigation Access Project for Cotton Farming in Burkina Faso (PAICC-BF) since 2018 and previously held roles including Director of Cotton Production and Technical Advisor to the General Director at SOFITEX. With a degree from Ecole supérieure d'agronomie Niamey, Yameogo has been an influential figure in Burkina Faso's cotton industry.
