Milla Heikkilä

Milla Heikkilä's work experience includes roles at various companies and organizations. Milla started their career as a Member of the Board at Osuuskunta Tradetalo, where they worked on marketing, organizing, project management, and finance. Milla then interned as a Sales Representative at Tigo clothing Oy, being involved in establishing a new clothing store. Milla also worked as an Office Assistant at Restatop Oy, where they handled accounts payable, supervised transportation, and assisted with everyday office and sales tasks. Milla gained experience as a Financial Assistant at KTO, Varsinais-Suomen erityishuoltopiirin kuntayhtymä, managing general ledger, payment transactions, and updating HR systems. At Hiab, they served as an HR Assistant, performing employee life-cycle tasks, coordinating training activities, and assisting with recruitment. Milla also has self-employment experience, providing career coaching, speaking, and training services to companies and professionals. Currently, they are working at Sofokus, first as a People Happiness Officer and now as the Chief Happiness Officer & Partner, ensuring employee well-being, professional development, recruitment, and growth.

Milla Heikkilä completed their secondary education at Turun Steiner-koulu, graduating in 2008. Milla then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Turku University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2014, with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In 2012, they spent a semester abroad at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, studying International Business/Trade/Commerce. Milla later enrolled at the University of Vaasa, where they obtained a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in International Business, from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they had the opportunity to study abroad at San Diego State University for a semester, exploring courses in Business Administration and Management, General, in 2015.
