Teemu Malinen

Teemu Malinen has had a diverse range of work experiences. Teemu is the Founder and CEO of Sofokus, a company that has won numerous awards and has been recognized for its innovation. Teemu is also the Founder of Sofokus Ventures, which focuses on investing in startups. Teemu is the Co-founder and Advisor at Coventures, a company that collaborates with corporations to create digital ventures. Teemu is a Member of the Board at LM Someco, a company that combines marketing, communications, and technology. Teemu is the Co-founder and Investor at Monttu Ventures, which supports early-stage startup companies. Teemu is also a Co-founder and Member of the Board at Liveto, an event sales platform. Teemu is a Member of the Board (formerly advisory board) at The SHIFT Finland, an organization that helps innovators shape the future through business and technology. Teemu is the Co-founder and Chairman of the Board at Viversion, a company focused on VR gaming. Teemu is the Co-founder of Kompozure Ltd, a cloud software development company, and they are a Co-founder and Member of the Board at Someco Oy, an agency specializing in content strategy and social media.

Teemu Malinen obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Turku from 1994 to 2000. Teemu'smajor was Information Technology, and they also had minors in Mathematics, Economy, Statistics, and Psychology. In 2013, they attended a HHJ course at the Turku Chamber of Commerce, focusing on board work. In 2007, they participated in a Managing Director Course at Konsulttitoimisto Seppo Hoffrén Oy Consultancy. Additionally, they have obtained three Inbound Certifications from HubSpot, one in 2015, another in 2016, and the most recent one in July 2020.
