Anh Hoang

Director at Sofregen

Anh Hoang began their career in 2014 as the Chief Science Officer and Co-founder of Sofregen Medical Inc. In 2018, they took on the role of Adjunct Professor at Tufts University. In 2019, they joined MassBio as a member of the Medtech Advisory Committee and also became an IGNITE Steering Committee Member at MassMEDIC. In 2021, they joined the Faculty at the Catalyst Program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Anh Hoang has an impressive educational background. Anh obtained their Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Material Science from Vanderbilt University as an NSF fellow. Anh then became an ECOR Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Lastly, they obtained their BA in Biochemistry and English from Mount Holyoke College with high honors.
