Charles Dechoux

Charles Dechoux is an experienced nuclear safety engineer currently serving as an Ingénieur Projets en Sûreté Nucléaire at Sofren Group since March 2024, focusing on modifications to operational nuclear power plants. Prior roles include an Ingénieur d'études sûreté nucléaire at Seres Technologies, where regulatory documentation for the Fessenheim decommissioning was prepared, and an Ingénieur sûreté nucléaire at KURY Ingénierie, contributing to the update of incident and accident management procedures. Charles Dechoux has also experience as a Modelling Engineer with EDF Energy, developing models for carbon capture technology, and began a career as a Product Development Intern at Wooga. Charles Dechoux holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Industrial Engineering from Centrale Lille, completed in 2010.
