Additionally, they have held positions such as General Partner at North Bridge Venture Partners and Chairman of the Board at multiple companies, including Soft Robotics and 1366 Technologies. Carmichael earned an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and a PhD from Duke University.
