Daniel Paton

Daniel Paton has a strong background in IT sales and customer service, currently serving as a Workspace Executive and previously as a Sales Executive at Softcat plc since March 2022. In this role, Daniel focuses on selling and enhancing Softcat's IT portfolio by collaborating with major IT vendors to meet the bespoke needs of customers, while aiming to optimize costs and efficiency in IT procurement. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Tax Advisor for HM Revenue & Customs from July 2021 to March 2022, where responsibilities included providing personal tax advice and serving as the main point of contact for individuals regarding their tax inquiries. Daniel holds an Honours Degree in Marketing from Glasgow Caledonian University, earned between 2016 and 2020.
