Dean Crook

Dean Crook is a Solutions Architect at Softcat plc, specializing in Enterprise Network and Security pre-sales and design services since February 2022. Prior to this, Dean served as a Solutions Professional - Networks at Capital Network Solutions Limited and as a Network Architect for South Wales Police from October 2013 to February 2022, where responsibilities included managing a team of engineers across numerous sites and overseeing network devices. Dean's extensive experience includes roles such as Senior Network Engineer and Network Security Engineer, focusing on network management and administration of various Cisco technologies and load balancers. Dean began his career in networking as a Network Analyst, Radio Technician, and Motor Mechanic at South Wales Police from 1996 to 2012 and holds a degree from the University of South Wales.
