Jack Gardiner is a seasoned finance and operations professional with extensive experience in FinOps, currently serving as the FinOps Team Lead at Softcat plc since August 2023. Prior to this, Jack held roles at Capgemini and Sainsbury's, where responsibilities included chargeback reporting and cloud cost management. Jack's journey in the field began at Cloudreach, contributing as both a Core FinOps Analyst and FinOps Analyst, focused on helping customers control cloud spending on AWS and Azure. Earlier experience includes SQL development at Tesco Bank and consultancy at Newtyne, complemented by customer service expertise at Hero TSC. Jack holds a Postgraduate degree in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Stirling.
