Gagik Mkrtchyan

Gagik Mkrtchyan is a Machine Learning Specialist at SoftConstruct since January 2025, following their role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Fast Bank from November 2023 to January 2025. In the position at Fast Bank, Gagik specialized in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for the Armenian language, utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) such as BERT and RoBERTa to enhance classification for chatbots. Gagik also contributed to an Armenian speech-to-text project, improving voice recognition accuracy, and developed an OCR system using YOLO for efficient data extraction. Gagik is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Applied Mathematics at Yerevan State University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
