Scott Coons is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader, currently serving as a board director for multiple software companies and as a partner at Perceptive Equity, LLC. Coons co-founded Perceptive Software in 1995 and was its Chief Executive Officer until its acquisition by Lexmark International in 2010, after which they led Lexmark's global software business as President of Enterprise Software until retirement in 2015. With a strong focus on innovation and growth, Coons has overseen strategic acquisitions and high revenue growth throughout their career, while now dedicating time to foster emerging software companies in the Kansas City area.
