Christopher Hiles

Christopher Hiles, MS, RN BSN, CEM, MEP, MDPEMP, has extensive experience in emergency management and nursing. Currently engaged in course development at Softek Services, Inc., Christopher previously served as Planning Section Chief at the Baltimore City Office of Emergency Management, where responsibilities included planning and coordination of emergency exercises. As Chairman of the Baltimore Urban Area Security Initiative Training and Exercise Workgroup, Christopher led efforts in training support and quality assurance across subcommittees. Additional roles included Exercise and Training Section Chief at the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management and Emergency Management Specialist at IEM, where Christopher contributed to public health preparedness and emergency response planning. Earlier experience includes positions as a Community Health Nurse and Emergency Department Nurse, coupled with advanced degrees in Integrated Homeland Security Management and Registered Nursing from Towson University and Stevenson University, respectively.
