Karen Colebatch is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in financial operations and management accounting. Currently serving as the Head of Financial Operations at Softel Systems since January 2017, Karen has successfully developed KPIs, introduced formal budgeting processes, and implemented a cloud-based accounting system. Previously, as a Management Accountant at Avexa Limited, responsibilities included managing accounting functions for international entities and preparing comprehensive Board Finance reports. Earlier career roles included Senior Accountant at Marendaz Accountants and various accounting positions at smaller firms, providing a solid foundation in compliance and tax services. Karen holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the University of South Australia and is a qualified member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
