Darnell Dent is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in management consulting and governance services. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for Community First Insurance Plans and Softheon, Darnell is also the Principal and founder of Dent Advisory Services, LLC, providing consulting in areas such as strategic planning and project management. Darnell holds positions on the Editorial Advisory Board of Managed Healthcare Executive and the Board of Directors for the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter, where leadership and member engagement are emphasized. As a NACD Board Leadership Fellow, Darnell is recognized for excellence in corporate governance. Previous roles include Chair of the Board for the Texas Association of Community Health Plans and President & CEO of FirstCare. Darnell holds a Master of Public Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Norfolk State University.
