Yelena Yesha

Yelena Yesha is the founder and chair of Softhread, a company that specializes in data storage and processing. Yelena has a long history of working with data, having served as the director of the University of Miami's Institute for Data Science & Computing, the director of CESDIS at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, and as a senior research scientist at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In their current role at Softhread, Yelena is responsible for leading the company's team of engineers and data scientists in developing new ways to store and process data more efficiently.

Yelena Yesha received their Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, their Master of Science in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, and their Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from York University.
