Prior to that, they completed their Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communication from the Vellore Institute of Technology, under the University of Madras, from 2000 to 2004. Before entering tertiary education, Gokul attended Sree Venkateswar Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 1998 to 2000, where they completed their High School education, focusing on subjects such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

In addition to their formal education, Gokul Krishnamurthy has also obtained several certifications throughout their career.
