Patrick Ruß is currently the Leiter Hardwareentwicklung at Softing Automotive Electronics GmbH in Kirchentellinsfurt, where they lead a team of nine employees and are responsible for the conceptualization and development of electronics architecture for complex robotic systems. They oversee the entire lifecycle of electronics hardware development, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and facilitating resource and capacity planning. Previously, Patrick has worked in various roles at STIHL, including as a Mitarbeiter in the Vorentwicklung of mechatronic motor devices and as a Gruppenleiter in electronics hardware development for robotic mowers. Patrick holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT).
