Alan Ott

Alan Ott has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Alan started their career as a Software Engineer at AcuSoft, Inc. in 2002, where they developed an application for control and configuration of 3D Image Generator. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at AVT Simulation, responsible for integrating IG with EPX, helicopter flight dynamics, weapons systems simulation, and visual system development. In 2009, Alan became the Proprietor and Software Developer at Signal 11 Software, specializing in embedded systems using Linux and Microchip PIC products, Linux kernel/driver development, USB device and host development, and IEEE 802.15. Finally, in 2015, Alan joined SoftIron as the Director of Platform Software.

Alan Ott obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida from 1999 to 2002.
