David Parker

David Parker has over 20 years of experience in the field of DevOps and system engineering. David'smost recent position was as a DevOps Engineer at Softrams. Prior to that, they served as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Wagz, Inc., where they built an infrastructure as code solution for a startup using AWS, Digital Ocean, and various automation tools. Before that, they worked as a System Engineer at FIS, where they focused on system provisioning and automation using Puppet. David also has experience as a Systems Engineer at Oracle, where they implemented automated builds of virtual and bare metal machines. David served as a DevOps Lead at Gemr, Inc., and as a Senior System Administrator at Trunity. Earlier in their career, David held roles at Group Voyagers Inc. as a UNIX Engineer, at Hewlett-Packard as a Support Technician, at XO Communications as a Unix Administrator, and at Level 3 Communications as a Unix Engineer. Overall, David Parker has a strong background in DevOps, systems engineering, automation, and infrastructure management.

David Parker earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, General from the University of New Hampshire, where they attended from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as a Red Hat Certified Engineer from Red Hat in February 2005.
