Jack Kuperman

Jack Kuperman has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and engineering.

Beginning in 2011, Jack worked at Systems Alliance, Inc. as a Software Engineer in Test. Jack built a selenium framework, wrote modules for the company's product, and created a performance test harness.

In 2014, Jack joined SparkPost as a Software Engineering Manager, leading a team of engineers. Jack also worked as a QA Engineer and Software Engineer in Sustaining Engineering.

Jack then became a Site Reliability Engineering Manager at SparkPost in 2017, leading a team of 7 SREs in automation and infrastructure management with AWS. In 2018, they served as the Director of Site Reliability Engineering and later transitioned to being a Team Lead, focusing on automation, infrastructure as code, and reliability initiatives. Jack implemented orchestration, monitoring, provisioning, and configuration management systems with technologies such as AWS, EC2, ECS, docker, and Python.

In 2021, Jack joined Whitebox Inc as a DevOps Engineer before moving to Crisis Text Line as a Staff DevOps Engineer. Jack then worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Sysdev II, specializing in DevOps, from 2022 to 2023.

Currently, Jack is employed at Softrams as a Senior DevOps Engineer.

From 2006 to 2011, Jack Kuperman attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science.
