Michael Katz

Michael Katz is an experienced IT Project Manager with a robust background in managing security solutions and information technology for federal agencies, particularly within the USDA. Currently at Softrams, Michael leads the development and management of security measures to protect USDA data and oversees information technology processes. Previous roles include Information Technology Consultant at i3 Solutions, where Michael enhanced IT governance and supported Agile teams, and IT Project Manager at Apex Systems, where operational command center processes for UMB Bank were designed. Michael's extensive experience is built on a solid foundation from the United States Air Force, where Michael held various program management positions and dealt with logistics and budget oversight. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Kansas State University.
