Ilia Mashkov

Ilia Mashkov has over 15 years of experience in system administration and DevOps roles. Ilia began their career in 2002 as a System Administrator at the Arkhangelsk regional scientific library, where they managed servers and workstations, administered various services, and implemented security policies. From 2005 to 2013, Ilia worked as a Senior System Administrator at Barents Hus AB, where they gained expertise in Linux and Windows systems management, web servers, application servers, and database servers. Ilia then served as a Senior System Administrator at Truecaller in 2013, before joining Softronic in 2014 as a Continuous Integration and DevOps specialist. At Softronic, Ilia built platforms and integrated CI/CD practices, DevOps methods, and continuous operations. Ilia also had experience with container platforms, source control, repository management, cloud solutions, project tracking, centralized logging, and monitoring tools. Additionally, they managed Java and .Net applications operations.

Ilia Mashkov pursued their education at Pomorsk State University named after M.V. Lomonosov from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Master's degree in Physics. Additionally, Ilia has acquired various certifications throughout their career. In 2005, they obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco. In 2012, Ilia completed the "Introduction to Computer Science I" course from edX. Furthermore, in 2018, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Most recently, in 2021, Ilia received two certifications from Red Hat: the "Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration" and the "Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes."
